Nancy F. Baldasare, age 72, of Clermont, FL, formerly of Hanover, MA, passed away peacefully following a long battle with end stage lung disease on October 21, 2012. Nancy was the beloved wife of Vincent A. Baldasare for 40 years. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Frances Rubino.
Nancy was raised in Medford and Winchester, MA. She graduated from Salve Regina University in 1962. After graduation, she worked as a social worker. Her favorite part of her job was helping children. Her love for helping children continued throughout her life. Because of this, she earned the title “Mom” from many of her childrens’ friends.
All who knew Nancy recognized her love for life. She enjoyed horseback riding, skiing, camping and spending time with her family and friends. More recently, her most favorite pastime was spending time swimming with her five grandchildren.
Along with her beloved and devoted husband Vinny, Nancy is survived by her son Michael Baldasare of Clermont, FL, and her daughter Frances Cummings and her husband Timothy of Ocoee, FL. She was the loving and devoted grandmother of Sumayah and Tamara Baldasare, Christina, Cynthia and Joseph Cummings.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
