Mark Arnold Perdue, age 63 of Gainesville,Georgia passed away on Tuesday morning, October 23, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jeryle Roach and Reverend Robert Lawson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 from 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Perdue was born July 26, 1949, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to the late Charles A. Perdue and Ruby Yarbrough Perdue. He was retired from Fleet Financial and was a member of Northside Family Worship. Mark was an accomplished musician & vocalist with the southern gospel group, Heartsong. He enjoyed playing and recording music and was a blessing to many people.
Mr. Perdue is survived by his wife, Sudie Coleman Perdue of Gainesville, Georgia, sons& daughters-in-law, Brent Andrae & Lori Perdue of Sante Fe, New Mexico and Nathan Charles & Leah Perdue of Gainesville, Georgia, sister, Linda Annette Perdue of Fitzgerald, Georgia, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Mark & Hilda Hendricks of Duluth and Edward & Catherine McLendon of Hawkinsville, Georgia and sister-in-law, Joann Rowe of Warner Robins, Georgia.
