Obituary

AUBURN___William J. Richinick, 88, of 1 Westwood Dr., died Wednesday June 2 in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester. His wife of 50 years, Statia (Kozlowski) Richinick died in 1998.

He is survived by three sons, Gary F. Richinick of Santa Monica, Ca., Paul E. Richinick of Charlton and William J. Richinick of Auburn; a daughter, Barbara A. Laskey of Newington, Ct., a brother, John Richinick and a sister, Mildred Alexandrowicz both of West Boylston; a granddaughter, Megan Laskey and nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother and four sisters, Paul Richinick, Stella Williams, Anna Mespelli, Helen Wozny and Elizabeth Wheeler. He was born in Worcester, son of John and Fedora (Slizewski) Richinick and lived in Auburn for most of his life.

Mr. Richinick was a molder more than 25 years for Norton Co., and retired in 1977. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

He was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and the Polish National Alliance.

The funeral will be held on Monday June 7 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford St., Auburn. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Sunday June 6 from 4 to 7 p.m.
