Marianne W. Bond, 82, of Hendersonville NC, formerly of Wellesley, died on Monday, October 1, 2012 at Hendersonville Health and Rehabilitation.
A native of Boston, MA she was born on July 9, 1930 to the late George Prather and Marion Woodrow Prather. She and her husband Norris lived in Wellesley, MA for many years before retiring to Henderson County. She retired from the Wellesley Public School System. She was a member of the Mayflower Society, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Junior League of Boston.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Norris Bond; her sons, George Bond of Asheville, William Bond of Henderson, KY, Charles Bond of New Providence, PA; and her eight grandchildren.
A private burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley, MA.
