Elena Szymanski, 92 of Medford, died Friday after a brief illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Somerville, she lived all her life in Medford and was the daughter of the late Concetta (Tirella) and Soccorso DePrizio.
Elena was a Salesclerk at the former Ames Department Store in Medford for many years and retired in 1987.
Beloved wife of the late Stanley H. Szymanski. Devoted mother of Carol Moretti of Medford and the late Michael Szymanski. Loving grandmother of Richard Moretti, Michael Szymanski, and Lori Janvrin. Also survived by 8 loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
