Augusta, GA---Mrs. Margaret Powell Baxley, 69, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am tomorrow Friday, October 19, 2012 in the Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Reverend David Miller officiating.
The family will receive friends tomorrow from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
Mrs. Baxley was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta and was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County. She loved her Lord and was a member of the Baptist faith. She received great joy, in making crafts and donating them to different charities. Mrs. Baxley was a retired Legal Secretary.
She is survived by her son, Eric Wallace, daughter, Marilee W. Odum and husband, Ed, the joy of her life and her only grandchild, Macy Odum, brother, C. D. “Butch” Powell and wife, Beleta, aunt, Peggy Norris, all of Augusta, GA and her cat, “Trouble”.
