Doris Picard, 86, died Monday, October 15, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bertha (Patton) Naylor.
Doris was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
She was the cherished mother of Diane M. Horn and her husband, Paul,Steven J. Picard and his wife, Ann, Gary D.Picard and his wife, Joan and Patti A. Lanni and her husband, Joseph. She was the grandmother of Sharlene Lafazia,Albert Tyas, Steve, Jonathan, Justin and Jina Picard, Heidi, Jarvis and Heather Johnson, Joseph and Michael and Brittany Lanni. She was great-grandmother of Kaylie and Madison Picard, Jared and Logan Jarvis and Jack Johnson. She was the sister of Helen Northup and Carolyn Pitts and the late Mildred Brown and Walter Naylor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Burial was private. In lieu of flowers, donations to RI Hospital Coronary Care Unit,593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI 02903.
