David DeLuca, a long-time Somerville resident died Sunday at the Melrose/Wakefield Hospital. He was 93.
Born and raised in Boston’s North End, he was the son of the late Carmen and the late Antonetta (Langone) DeLuca. He lived in Somerville for over 64 years. For many years he worked with Local 22 for the Perini Construction Company.
He was the beloved husband of the late Louise (DeSisto). He was a devoted father to Louise Stiffler of Somerville, David DeLuca of NH and the late Carmen DeLuca. He was a loving grandfather to Patty Keane, Michael DeLuca, Louise Marshall, David DeLuca, Edward Stiffler, Marcy Maschetto the late Janet Piantedosi and Ricky DeLuca. He is also survived by 13 Great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Carmen and John DeLuca, Antoinette, Sam, Jerry Lupo, Sadie Foti and Millie Russo.
A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home,306 Main St., Medford. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Friends and relatives may visit Tuesday from 4 - 8.
