Umberto “ED” Libertini 77Umberto “Ed” Libertini died on Sunday June 6 at the Stanley R Tippett House in Needham. Born in Newton he has been a Needham Resident since 1951 and was also a resident of Pocasset. He went to school in the Watertown School Systems and joined the U.S. Army during WW11. He was an avid N.R.A. member and a member of the B.C.C.A.. Ed worked for W. T. Colpitts of Needham and later was the former owner of Bennett’s Plumbing of Norwood. Beloved husband of Audrey (Letterio) Libertini for 54 years. Ed was the dear father of Thomas E Libertini of Englewood FL, Loralyn A Libertini of Brighton and Michael J Libertini Sr. of Needham. Brother of Mary Torcoletti of Leominster and Eleanor DelRose of Watertown. Beloved brother In-Law of Barbara Matarazzo and Enio Torcoletti. Beloved grandfather of Michael Jr., Rebecca and Anthony, also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral From the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Thursday June 10 at 9:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church of Needham at 10:00 AM. Visiting Hours on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Burial at the Needham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701
