Teresa R. (Pasquenilli) Silvestro of Peabody, formerly of Medford died peacefully at her home on Sunday. She was 84. Born and raised in Boston to a loving family, she was the daughter of the late Enrico and the late Filippa (Messina) Pasquenilli.
Teresa worked at John Hancock Insurance before her marriage. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she served as a lunch mother at Medford’s Columbus School for over 30 years where she earned the admiration of generations of school children. She lived for 45 years on Edward St. in Medford before moving to Peabody.
The beloved wife of the late Dominic, she was a devoted mother to James Silvestro and his wife Jean of Canton, Thomas Silvestro and his wife Florence of Andover, Jean Harty and her husband Nick of North Reading, Stephen Silvestro and his wife Laura of Peabody. She was a loving grandmother to Samuel, Amelia, Jack and Tyler. The dear sister of the late Mary Pasquenilli, Albina Roderick and Anthony Pasquenilli, she also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, October 16th from 4 thru 8 PM and again on Wednesday morning at 9 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Saint Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
