RITA M. (DITULLIO) CARBONE, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Hull, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 13th, 2012. She was 84. Mrs. Carbone was an active member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Boynton Beach where she served as a eucharistic minister, a bereavement minister and as a member of Counseling Catholic Women was a spiritual advisor. She was at various times a bookkeeper and bus driver and enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards and her friends and family.
She was the wife of the late Steven J. Carbone and mother of; Steven J. Carbone, Jr. of Kensington, NH, Debra Chisholm and Chris Carbone both of Hingham, Janice Perry of Hanover and Paul Carbone of Dover, MA. Sister of the late Gina DiCarlo, Emma DiTullio and William DiTullio. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral Wednesday, Oct. 17th from the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at the Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main St. (Rt. 228) Hingham at 10 AM. Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Tuesday from 4-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 101 Columbian St., So. Weymouth, MA 02190 or to St. Mark's Catholic Church, 643 Northeast 4th Ave., Boynton Beach, FL 33435-4196.
Interment in High Street Cemetery, Hingham.
