Henry F. Martin Jr., 60, of Medway, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Lynne (Sandvik) Martin for 30 yrs.
Born in Worcester on July 24, 1952, he was the son of the late Henry F. and Catherine (Leary) Martin Sr.
Mr. Martin grew up in Worcester and graduated from North High School. He had resided in Natick until moving to Medway 25 years ago.
He was a custodian for the Town of Medfield at the Dale Street School for over 10 years.
Mr. Martin was devoted to his family, his church and his religious activities.
He is survived by two sons, Ryan Martin of Boston and Jacob Martin and his fiancée Rosemary Lane of Shrewsbury and two sisters, Joellen Farley and her husband Jack of North Truro and Holden and Kathleen Donahue of Spencer.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, his extended church family and his many friends he met throughout his years of recovery.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Monday, October 15 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway at 9:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 – 8 p.m.
