Claude Robert (Bob) Becklehimer
Dec. 11, 1925 to Oct. 5, 2012

Claude Robert (Bob) Becklehimer, age 86, of Anderson died at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville, IN after an extended illness.

He was born December 11, 1925 in Indianapolis, IN; to Homer and Gayle (Turner) Becklehimer.

He served in the US Navy 1943-1946 in the Pacific Theater. He was two boats over from the Missouri watching the peace treaty being signed through binoculars.

He was a Master Donut Maker for 37 years before retiring in 1987.
He attended Madison Park Church of God. He enjoyed bowling, bridge club and liked spreading the Gospel and making people happy.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Ron) Maves and his son, Michael Becklehimer; his brother Richard (Debbie) Becklehimer; his sister-in-law, Mrs. William (Dottie) Becklehimer; 3 grandchildren Liz Maves, Matthew Maves, and Chastity Evans; 3 great grandsons; several nieces and nephews including Mary (Jeff) Luedeman, Gayle McGovern, Peggy (David) Hall, Juli (Joe) Foster and Tom Becklehimer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Cleo and his brother William Becklehimer.

Memorial services will be on will be Saturday, October 13 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation 1 hour prior to the services at Madison Park Commons with Rev. Tom Malbone officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Harter House Scholarship Fund; 600 Main Street; Anderson, IN 46016.
