Robert J. Sylvia, 25 of Westport died unexpectedly, Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in New Bedford, son of the late Robert Sylvia and the late Randi A.R. Lemberg, he had resided in Westport and Dartmouth for most of his life. A dedicated weightlifter and bodybuilder, he enjoyed fishing, camping, animals, outdoors, sports, the beach, motorcycles and WWE Wrestling, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his maternal grandmother: Jane E. Sykes of Westport; an uncle: Peter A. Lemberg; an aunt: Betty Jo Lemberg; a grand uncle and aunt: Edwin and Marie Lemberg; and several cousins.
He was grandson of the late Arthur E. Lemberg, nephew of the late Martha J. Lemberg and grand nephew of the late Christopher Lemberg.
A Memorial service will be announced at a later date.
