Adele “Simone” (Peters) Silvia, age 88 passed away October 7, 2012. She was the wife of Joseph F. Silvia and daughter of the late Karem and Helen (Ayoub) Peters. She was a retired sewing machine operator.
Adele was the mother of Mona A Mello (husband Gregory) of Westport, Debra A. St. Laurent (husband Robert) of Tiverton and Darlene M. Martel (husband Gregory) of Fall River. She was sister of the late Linda Kouby, Asmar DaPontes, Ann K. Moorehead and George K. Peters. She was the grandmother of Karen Marie Carpenter and David Joseph Mello and great grandmother of Xander Gregory Carpenter and Alyssa Simone Carpenter as well as an aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Her private funeral arrangements were under the direction of the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for Adele “Simone” (Peters) Silvia on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Anthony of the Desert Church, 300 N. Eastern Ave., Fall River.
