Rose M. (Galante) Mozzicato of Medford passed away peacefully at Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford on Saturday, October 6th at age 87. She was the life of the late Salvatore F, Mozzicato who died in 1966
Rose was born 1925 in Quincy and was a 1943 graduate of Quincy High School. She married in September of 1951 and settled in Medford, where she raised her two children. Rose retired from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts as an Office Clerk in 1988 and then was a volunteer in the Pharmacy Department at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford for many years.
Rose leaves her son Michael J. Mozzicato of Billerica, daughter Dr. Patricia A. Mozzicato and son-in-law James D. Calore of Nebo, North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her sisters Josephine Mastroianni of Quincy, Antoinette Zonfrelli of Dedham and Olga Galante of Quincy.
Funeral services will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday October 10 at 8 AM, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held on Tuesday from 4 thru 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
