Robert A. ”Bob” Connolly, of Plymouth, died suddenly on October 3, 2012, too soon at age 59. He is survived by his beloved wife Mary (Larkin) and cherished sons, Ian and Evan, all of Plymouth. He also leaves his brother John and his wife Jenice of Troy, NC, his sisters Shirley Cordaro and her husband John of Raymond, NH and Carol Sullivan and her husband Michael of Dedham, his uncle William Russell of North Reading and many dear nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends. He was born in Medford on October 25, 1952, the son of the late John and Dorothy (Russell) Connolly. He graduated in 1970 from Jamaica Plain High School and was an auto mechanic at Boston and Cambridge Yellow Cab, Bay State Taxi in Brookline and a Master Technician at Expressway Toyota in Dorchester and Sullivan Brothers in Kingston. Bob was a loving and nurturing family man who took great pride in his sons and their accomplishments and the simple pleasures of his home and surroundings. His true stock and trade was in the selfless giving of his time, knowledge and support to anyone in need and his ability to lift spirits with his unique perspective and sense of humor. His love and friendship was a gift beyond measure and he will be widely and greatly missed. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet) on Wednesday October 10th between 4:00-6:30 with a celebration of his life at 6:30.
