Betty (Kinteris) DiBlasio passed away on October 4, 2012. She was 82 years old.
Raised in the South End of Boston, Betty was a resident of Malden for 50 years. She worked for the Jordan Marsh Company in Malden for many years and also in Somerville and was a member of the Sons of Italy – Maria Montessori Lodge of Belmont.
Betty was the devoted wife of the late Romeo DiBlasio. She was the beloved mother of Ann Bateman and her husband Butch of Malden, Cynthia Reardon and her husband Michael of Wilmington, Deborah Edwards and her husband Scott of Wilmington and the late Leo and Chris DiBlasio. Betty was the dear sister of Paul Kinteris and his wife Rose of Dorchester and the late Charles Kinteris, Ann Amodeo and Mabel Ferrandini. She was sister-in-law of Dolly Kinteris and Theresa Ferrara and the cherished grandmother of Shawn, Scott Jr., Marisa and Alexis. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, October 6th at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
