Marie M. Shrader, 80, of Clarksville, TN, died on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was born on May 27, 1932 in Clarksville, TN to the late Thomas Martin and Eloise Suiter Martin.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012 at 1 p.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Kerry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. and Friday, October 5, 2012 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Marie was an entrepreneur having founded Pioneer Personnel of Clarksville, TN. In her later years, she volunteered at the Clarksville Welcome Center at I-24. She was a member of the Church of Christ at Trenton Crossing (formerly Madison Street Church of Christ).
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Morton Shrader of Clarksville, TN; four daughters, Darlynne (Andy) Jordan of Franklin, TN, Pam (Larry) Wilson of Stow, MA, Lisa (Bob) Carr of Clarksville, TN, and Leigh Ann (Walt) Redding of Huntsville, AL; six grandchildren, Justin Jordan, Lindsey Jordan, Ashlee Lynch, Jarrett Jordan, Cara Carr, and Larry Wilson, Jr.; and one great grandson, Ethan Lynch.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
