Moon, William R. Sr. 67, of Louisville passed away Tuesday October 2, 2012 at the Jewish Hospital.
William was a native of Rocky Mount, N.C. and a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church. He was employed by Granutech Pharmacy Co.
He was the son of the late John Byrd & Mary Clyde Moon.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Carolyn L. (Cranford); five children, William L. Moon Jr., Joe Minton (Georgeanne), Paula Decker (Sherrill), Tina Stroud and Lonnie Minton; 11 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren; a sister, Barbara A. Fisher and two dear friends Joyce Crum & Glenn Hill .
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy. with cremation to follow. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 pm Friday and after 11:00 am Saturday.
