MANN, Marie Antoinette (Pantano) Age 77, formerly of West Roxbury, Roslindale and Hyde Park, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 in Dayton, OH. She was born November 13, 1934 in Boston to the late John and Anna Pantano. Marie graduated from Roslindale High School in 1952, attended Deaconess Nursing School, graduated from Boston Business School and retired from the Federal Milk Market Administration after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Huber Heights, OH, Senior Citizen Center and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Hyde Park.
Marie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Frederick Blanchard of Huber Heights, OH; son, John Mann of Denver, CO; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Marie Fricke of Kent, WA; great-grandson, Adyen James Becker of Kent, WA; sister, Frances (Tom) Pantano-Abele; nephews, Travis and Jared Abele; co-worker and special friend, John Muise; and dear friend, Maggie Chambless. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Anna (Kelley) Forrest. She will be forever missed by her puppies, Molly and Buddy.
Funeral Service in the P.E. Murray-George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Tuesday, October 9 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Monday, October 8 from 6-8 PM. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
