Obituary

Mary Adele (Senior) Schroeder, 84, of Bellingham, died Monday, October 1, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of Daniel Schroeder who died in 1994.

Born in the Hyde Park section of Boston on February 10, 1928, she was a daughter of the late George and Margaret (Lestrange) Senior.

Mrs. Schroeder grew up in Hyde Park, graduated from Hyde Park High School and has been a Bellingham resident since 1961.

She had worked as a bakery clerk at the former Fernandes Supermarket in Medway and Walpole for many years.

Mrs. Schroeder was an active communicant of St. Blaise Church in Bellingham and was a member of the Bellingham Senior Center.

She is survived by two sons, Daniel Schroeder of Woonsocket and Thomas Schroeder of Bayonne, NJ, a daughter Deborah Johnson of Northfield, NH, and she was the mother of the late Dorothy Driscoll.

She is also survived by five grandchildren, Danny, Chris, Jenni, Kelly and Laura and five great-grandchildren, Justin, with whom she lived, and Brady, Andrew, Kaelyn and Evan.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass on Saturday, October 6 at 9 a.m. at St. Blaise Church in Bellingham. Burial will follow Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
