Moroney, Helen “Ellie” (Kineavy), 100 years old of West Roxbury formerly of Co. Galway Ireland, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 30, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Michael J. Loving Mother of Brenda Correia and her husband Jack of Bridgewater, Helene McDonald and her late husband David of Marshfield, Judith Chevarley and her husband Joseph of West Roxbury, Linda Iles of CA, Maureen Hermiston and her late husband George of SC, Robert Moroney and his wife Margaret of AZ, Thomas Moroney and his wife Edith of TX. Devoted Nana of Anne, Elyce, Geo, Jeanine, Josh, Kate, Michael, Micheen, Monica, Nancy, Patricia, Sarah, Tom, and the late Andrew Hermiston and Matthew Iles. Also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Thursday, Oct. 4th at 9 am, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John Chrysostom Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment St.Joseph Cemetery. Helen was a retired supervisor, Harvard Medical School Vanderbilt Dining Hall; an accomplished cook; an avid reader; and loved to travel.
