Edward W. Colby, 37, of Peterborough, died Friday September 28, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Colby was born June 11, 1975 in Lowell, MA and was a son of Wayne and Linda (Atkins) Colby. He was raised and educated in Derry, and was a 1994 graduate of Pinkerton Academy. Mr. Colby resided in Derry most of his life and had resided in Peterborough for the past 4 years.
Mr. Colby was employed as a machinist with Hitchiner Manufacturing of Milford, NH for the past 4 years. He enjoyed football and wrestling, body art and music. He especially loved spending time with his family.
Members of the family include his mother Linda of Derry, his wife of 4 years, Jocelyn (Martell) Colby of Peterborough, a son, Tristan Edward Damian Colby of Beverly, MA, four daughters, Rebecca A.E. Simard, Gabrielle D. Simard and Juliette K. Simard, and Cameron Jordan Colby, all of Peterborough, a brother and his wife, Michael & Elaine Boule of Manchester, two sisters, Wendy Boule of Litchfield and Heather Stewart and her husband Timothy of Derry. 5 nieces and nephews, Kasey Colby, Kyele Stewart, Rhyann Stewart, Michaela Boule and Johnny McKinnon. He was predeceased by his father in 2003.
Calling hours will be Thursday October 4, 2012 from 4 - 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service will be Friday at 10:00am in the funeral home, with cremation to follow.
