June A. McCoy, 80, of Snake Hill Road, died Sunday in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the widow of Ronald E. McCoy.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Ernest and Ida (Bernier) Miner. She had lived in Glocester for 48 years. June was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed bingo and visiting with friends at the Glocester Senior Center. She brought great joy to her family and that was the center of her life. She will be sorely missed.
She leaves her children, Ronald McCoy of Warwick, Kathleen Schanck of Glocester, Kevin McCoy of Johnston, Mark McCoy of Scituate, Gary McCoy of Charlestown, Kelly Demirgioglu of Smithfield and Kimberly Baker of Providence, and 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Burial will be in Highland Park, Johnston. Visitation Tuesday 4-7pm.
