Georgette P. (Dollet) Panagacos, 88, of West Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of West Roxbury, MA passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony D. Panagacos.
Born in Paris, France on November 22, 1923, she was a loving daughter of the late Virginia Dollet. She grew up and was educated in France.
A resident of West Palm Beach for the past 25 years, Georgette had formerly lived in West Roxbury. Prior to retiring, she had been employed for 25 years as a quality control technician for Armstrong Pharmaceuticals in West Roxbury.
A member of St. Gregory The Theologian Greek Orthodox Church in Mansfield, Mrs. Panagacos enjoyed knitting, gardening, traveling, camping, and especially spending time with her adoring family.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Dorothy M. Limberis and her husband John of Dedham, MA and Paulette G. Vinton and her husband Richard of Sharon, MA. The cherished grandmother of George Limberis and his wife Joanne of New Jersey and Anthony Limberis and his wife June of Boston, MA, she is also survived by her great grandchildren, Johnny, Caroline and Nathan Limberis, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd at 9:00 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield followed by services in St. Gregory The Theologian Greek Orthodox Church, 1007 West St., Mansfield. Burial will follow in The Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, October 2nd from 4-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
