Margaret M. (DiSario) Della Piana passed away on September 26, 2012. She was 92 years old.
Born in Italy, Margaret was a resident of Malden most of her life. She was the former owner of Highland Cleaners on Highland Ave. in Malden for many years.
Margaret was the devoted wife of the late Guido Della Piana. She was the beloved mother of Diana Cataldo and her husband Robert of Saugus (owners of Cataldo Ambulance), Nicholas Della Piana of Gloucester and the late Dennis Della Piana. Margaret was the dear sister of Mary Caruso and her late husband Rudolph and the late Phillip and Thomas DiSario. She was the sister in-law of Angelina Pace and Josephine Vaccaro and her husband Vito. Margaret was the cherished grandmother of Dennis Cataldo and his wife Christine of Lynnfield and Niki Salamone and her husband Frank of Winthrop. She was the great-grandmother of Brady, Ryan and Tyler Cataldo and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Private Services were held on Friday, September 28th at St. Joseph’s Church, Malden followed by interment in Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. In loving memory of Margaret, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Church, 770 Salem St., Malden, MA 02148.
