LOUISE (LOMBARDO) STITT, passed away on Monday, Sept. 24th, 2012 after a long illness. A lifelong resident of Hingham, Louise was an avid, accomplished golfer. In her later years she lived at Linden Ponds in Hingham, where she was involved in numerous activities and made many wonderful friends.
Louise was predeceased by her husband, Robert Stitt. She is survived by her two daughters, Cynthia Dale of Hingham and Pamela Harris of Falmouth, ME; Three grandchildren, Morgan Harris Stewart, Bradford Harris and Alexis Dale; and great-grandchildren, Wes and Hadley Stewart.
She also leaves sisters, Josephine Dailey, Georgia DiSalvo and Geraldine Lombardo, and brother John Lombardo, all of Hingham.
Friends are invited to visit at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham on Monday, Oct. 1st from 11 AM – 1 PM, followed by a private memorial service. Louise will rest with her husband in the Hingham Cemetery.
