Mrs. Marie Patricia (Martin) Corsetti, a long time resiednt of Medford and beloved wife of the late Edward Corsetti, died at her home in Medford on Monday morning, September 24, 2012. She was 89 years old.
Born in Charlestown, on March 11, 1923, she was the beloved daughter of the late William and Mary (Harrington) Martin. Mrs. Corsetti was a graduate of Girls Catholic in Malden and was employed as a Writer for the Libby Mutual Insurance Company for many years. She was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Medford. Marie was an avid Boston Sports Fan and enjoyed watching all of the local teams. Above all, Marie was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She will be very sorely missed by her two daughters and sons-in-law; Elaine M. and her husband William Buckley of Dracut and Anne M. and her husband James P. Brogan of Medford, grandchildren; Mark, Ryan, Lisa, Jesse and Laura, great-grandchildren; Jack, Christian, Jacob and Tyler, sister; Rita Deacy of North Carolina and many nieces and nephews. She was also the loving mother of the late Paul W. Corsetti and sister of the late Helen Hafner, William Martin and Francis X. Martin.
Funeral services were privately held. Arrangements were entrusted to the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home of Medford.
