TAUNTON – Wilfred E. Cloutier, husband of the late Mabel E. (Hughes) Cloutier and the late Alveda (Rogers) Cloutier, died at the Life Care Center of Raynham on Sept. 21, 2012.
He was 91.
Born in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Ferdnand and Angelina (LaChance) Cloutier.
A Taunton resident for many years, Mr. Cloutier was educated in Attleboro Catholic schools and later served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
He was subsequently employed by Automatic Machine Products of Attleboro as a drill press operator for over thirty-five years.
He retired in 1986.
A communicant of Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton, Mr. Cloutier enjoyed electronics and gadgets of any kind.
Survivors include a son, William R. Mooney of Gouldsboro, ME; a daughter, Jean Coe and her husband Norman of Taunton; a sister, Irene Fisher of Attleboro; a son-in-law, Ronald Lind of Raynham; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of the late William J. Cloutier, Donna Mae Lind and Joan Philibert; and the brother of the late Norman, Charles, George, Robert and Roger Cloutier and Florence Rock.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday, Sept. 25th at 10 a.m. followed by burial at St. John’s Cemetery in Attleboro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, Sept. 24th from 5 to 8 p.m.
