STEVENSON, Marguerite ‘Midge’ (Graham) Of Green Harbor died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on September 19, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Richard C. “Dick” Stevenson. Loving mother of Richard C. Jr. “Chuck” of Plymouth, Mark and his wife Eileen of Humarock, Anne (Williams) and Beth Stevenson of Green Harbor and John and his wife Susan of Braintree. She also leaves her grandchildren Sean, Bridget and Kayley Stevenson, Midgie and Jack (Monty) Williams and Elizabeth, Caroline and Mary Stevenson. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings James, Robert, Elizabeth (Callahan), Mary (Brogan) and Angelina. Born and raised in Jamaica Plain, she spent her summers in Green Harbor which she always considered her home. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy, and attended Trinity College and is a graduate of Boston College. She was a teacher in the Parochial schools of Boston until she married and began her family. In addition to being an active member of St. Paul’s Parish in Hingham she was also an assistant to the director of their religious education program for many years. After retiring from her work at the parish Midge and Richard sold their house in Hingham and made Green Harbor their permanent home.
Funeral from the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. KINGSTON, Monday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St. Green Harbor at 10 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 PM. Interment Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
