Ruth E. (Adams) Larkey, 81, a resident of Newton Lower Falls for over 35 years, died Thursday May 27, 2004 at the Newton Wellesley Hospital in Newton.Ruth was born and raised in Brookline graduated from Brookline High School. She had worked as a bookkeeper for SS Pierce Store ‘s for several years. She had been a longtime member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brookline, had been a member of the Newton Friendship Club, and had volunteered at Newton Wellesley Hospital and several area nursing homes.She is survived by her husband Bernard J. Larkey, a sister Edith Miller of Littleton, and several nieces, nephew’s grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Costa of Millis.A funeral service will be held on Monday May 31, 2004 at 1PM in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, St. Paul St. Brookline.
