BURLINGTON - Olivia Amelia Heraty, died Tuesday, February 26, peacefully, at her Burlington home. She was the loving wife of 52 years of the late Peter J. Heraty. She was born in Malden, a daughter of the late Antonio and Livia (Tamburini) Frankini. She was a resident of Burlington for over fifty years, and graduated from Mary Burnham School in North Hampton, Class of 1941. From there she attended the Vermont Junior College in Montpelier, Vermont, an Associate Degree in Retail from Chamberlain School of Retail and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Tufts University, both located in Massachusetts. She was a communicant of the St. Josephs Church in Medford.
Liv's entire career has been with Elizabeth Arden, one of the world's largest cosmetics companies. Her many accomplishments include instituting their highly successful and international "Red Door Clinics" in department stores throughout the United States and Europe. She has conducted hundreds of workshops and has directed and trained make-up consultants and sales personnel in the "fine art" of selling skin care and make-up, and more importantly, in their correct use. Liv Heraty is highly sought after as a guest speaker and lecturer on the subjects of fashion, make-up, health, and skin-care and has spoken and helped a wide audience of women of varying ages and lifestyles. She has been featured in a number of print and electronic media including The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, The Post Gazette, The Good Day Show and Primetime with Barbara Brilliant, to name a few.
She is the loved sister of Yolanda S. Torrice of Medford, Dear aunt of Margaret A. Torrice and Joseph R. Torrice, both of Medford and the late Antonio F. Torrice.

Funeral from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Saturday at 10 o'clock followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 118 High Street, Medford at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday from 4 to 8 PM. Interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
