Fentress Lee Bryant, age 86 of Clarksville, TN, died on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Gateway Medical Center. He was born on June 23, 1926 in Stewart County, TN to the late Lacy Bryant and Ora Lee Lancaster Bryant. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Bryant, Graham Bryant and Billy J. Bryant.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 12:30 p.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Dr. David W. Coram, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 2-6 p.m. and Monday, September 17, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Fentress was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in WWII for two years. He worked on the production line for Caterpillar. He returned to Clarksville to become a successful business man. He was a member of Eternal Living Waters Church. He was also a lifetime member of AM Vets where he joined in 1972, Moose Lodge, and VFW.
He is survived by his wife, Suk Lee of Clarksville, TN; son, Thomas Lee Bryant of Clarksville, TN; sister, Robbie Dunlap of Clarksville, TN; and nieces, Diane Maxey, Kim Mandle, Julie Bryant and Tammy Dunlap.
Pallbearers will be Randy Wallace, Roger Overton, Don White, Zack Henard, Jeff Miller and Lyn Caudill.
