Priscilla H. "Pat" (Sabourin) Poulin, 79, of New Bedford died September 12, 2012 at Sippican Healthcare Center after a brief illness.
Born in Biddeford, ME, the daughter of the late Jerome H. and Laurina T. (Souliere) Sabourin, she lived in Auburn, ME before moving to New Bedford in 1954.
Mrs. Poulin was formerly employed as a waitress at the Century House, Beck's Seafood, the Sail Loft and the Cathay Temple.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, making outfits for her grandchildren, and volunteering at the Zeiterion Theater.
Survivors include 3 sons, Michael Poulin and his wife Kathy of New Bedford, Gary Poulin and his wife Michele of Acushnet and Steven Poulin of Nantucket; 2 daughters, Theresa Wolinski and her husband Danny of Deltone, FL and Marianne Croteau and her husband Bob of Sarasota, FL; a brother, Ronald Sabourin of Auburn, ME; 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Sheila Pereira and Dennis Poulin and the sister of the late Pauline Hess and Fern Sabourin.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Monday, September 17th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, Fairhaven at 10 AM. Burial will follow in the Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday, September 16th from 4-8 PM.
