Dorothy Ann (Hunter) Bain, of Hanson formerly of Hull, died suddenly on September 8th at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth at the age of 77. The beloved wife of the late Robert Bain Sr, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Robert and Angela Bain Jr. of GA; Jacqueline and Richard Robash of N. Weymouth, Scott and Dianne Bain of Holbrook, Michael and Tina Bain of Hanson and George and Leigh Bain of Hull. She also leaves 20 cherished grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Dorothy graduated from Dorchester High School for Girls in 1953 and has lived in Hanson for 7 years. She enjoyed reading, the beach, and especially spending time with her family. Dorothy’s warm smile and sincere hugs were traits treasured by all who knew her. Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 6 PM with a memorial service following at 7 PM on Thursday, September 13th at the New Hope Chapel, 89 Court St. in Plymouth. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5 Manley St, W. Bridgewater, MA 02379.
