Deborah (Frattarelli) D’Andrea, 59, of Smithfield, passed away September 9, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Angelo Frattarelli, and Maria Carmina (Carnevale) Frattarelli.
A native of Cranston, Deborah attended St. Ann’s grammar school, where she was a member of the Drum and Bugle Corp. She later attended Cranston High School East, and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Deborah lived in many locations before settling in Smithfield. She was a true Jack of All Trades, but the free spirit found herself in the hospitality industry, and her greatest professional achievement was to become the head Administrator of a nursing home. She was surrounded by loving family and friends, and a myriad of adorable pets.
She is survived by her husband, Frank D’Andrea, her daughter, Emily Surabian, three step-children: Frank D’Andrea III, Steven D’Andrea, Nicole D’Andrea, and a sister, Marie Laudini. Everyone fell in love with her affectionate, loving, and spirited personality.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 10am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am in St. Ann’s Church, 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 8:30-10am. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
