Peggy Clayton, age 94, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Shady Acres Nursing Home following an extended illness. Ms. Clayton was born on November 2, 1917, in Thomas County, GA to the late Verner Cleveland Clayton and Annie Mae Jackson Clayton.
Survivors include: her nieces, Joyce (Dave) Morse, of Douglas, GA and Pam Clayton Kelly, of Virgina and two great nephews, Joshua Morse, of Douglas, GA and Erik Morse, Lubbock, TX.
The Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Holladay and Rev. Jerry McKinnon officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery.
