Exie W. Boyd, age 93 of Yardley, PA, formerly of Beech Grove, IN, died on Sunday, September 9, 2012 in Newtown, PA.
She was born on September 14, 1918 in Crofton, KY to the late Jesse Forest Wilson and Lattie Wilson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Luther Boyd; brothers, J.E. Wilson and Hershel Wilson; her sister, Elsie Witherspoon and her twin Rexie McKnight.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Septemebr 15, 2012 at 10 a.m., at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Jamie Mandrell officiating. Burial will be in Greenhills Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville, KY. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Boyd (Karen) of Yardley, PA; five grandchildren, Michelle Jones (Mark) of Columbus, IN, Loni Freeman (Jeff) of Westfield, IN, Kristopher, Alexander and Zachary Boyd of Yardley, PA; and three great-grandchildren, Chandler Ballard, Trevor and Lily Jones of Columbus, IN.
