John Benjamin Hill Jr.

John Benjamin Hill Jr., 65, of Anderson died on January 15, 2011 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born on August 17, 1945 in Anderson, IN to John B. Hill and Ruby May (Couch) Hill. He has been a lifelong resident of Anderson.
He was employed a mechanic at Phillips Motorcycle Shop for 18 years. He worked at Anderson tool in shipping and receiving for 15 years. He owned Daleville Gun Club.
He was a national and state champion in skeet shooting. He loved guns and named his two dogs, Remington and Rugar. He was a very avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include his 2 brothers, Daniel Hill and Steven (wife, Becky) Hill both of Anderson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Ruby May (Couch) Hill and a brother, Larry Hill.
A memorial service will take place on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Bill Garvar officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:00pm on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Cremation was chosen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
