Betty Hittle Baines, age 91 of Anderson died at Bethany Pointe Health Campus following an extended illness.
Betty was born January 13, 1920 in Anderson to Dalphine and Pearl (Deeter) Hittle.
She graduated from Anderson High School and was a member of First United Methodist Church.
She was employed as an executive Assistant at Delco Remy before retiring on June 1, 1975.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Marge) Hittle of Anderson, 11 nieces and nephews, Robert (Lori) Dickey, Connie (Jim) Sizemore, Julie Lindsley, Brian (Liane) McFadden, Robert (Rosita) Hittle, Mary Jo (Martin) Makielski, Anne (William) Grossman, Mark (Mary Beth) Hittle, Susan (Leslie) Snider, James (Patricia) Hittle, Michael (Paula) Hittle, several great nieces and nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Dean Baines on June 15, 2002.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 12:00 Noon with Rev. William Mathys officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the First United Methodist Church.
