Peggy Ann (Cook) Richards, age 76 of Anderson died at Community Hospital on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 following a brief illness.
Peggy Ann was born in Anderson, IN on August 12, 1934 to Fred J. & Dorothy (Stephenson) Cook.
She graduated from Ball State University with a masters in Art and taught art in the Anderson Community Schools for 30 years before retiring in 1995. She worked part time in the floral department at Payless Applewood since 1993.
She attended Madison Park Church of God.
Survivors include her brother, Dale (Dolores) Cook of Anderson, special nieces Michelle Mickey and Amber Rae Mickey, nephew, Bryan Cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She loved her special friends, her pets and loved having and working in her garden.
Her service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Jim Lyon of Madison Park Church of God officiating. Friends may call from 4-7 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
Cremation will follow the funeral services.
