Patricia Jane "Pat" Murphy

Patricia Jane "Pat" Murphy, 77, of Anderson, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis following a brief illness.
She was born in Summitville, IN on July 27, 1933 to Isaac Sanford and Lavie Olive Groce.
Pat was a homemaker. She attended Chesterfield Christian Church. She was a member of the Domino Club. She was a Scout Den Mother and Band Parent. She retired from K-Mart, sold Avon and had a cake business for many years.
She is survived by her 2 sons Hugh Patrick (Beth) Murphy of Indianapolis and Jonathon (Lori) Murphy of Chicago, IL; 4 grandchildren: Joseph, Brigid and Sean Murphy and Jasmine Quintana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hugh Murphy whom she married in June of 1953.
Service will be on Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11:00 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark of Chesterfield Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday, February 20 from 2-6 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Humane Society or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
