Jack Lee Hoppes

Jack Lee Hoppes, 72, of Muncie died on June 3, 2011 at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born on February 7, 1939 in Anderson to Earl F. and Doris M. (Sylvester) Hoppes.
He was a tool and dye maker for Guide Lamp for 10 years. He owned his own construction company until 1976. He was a partial owner and entertainer at Little Nashville Opry. He owned and operated Four Star Charter in Muncie for 11 years. He fulfilled his passion of breading horses at Texas North Stables in Muncie, IN.
He was a member of North Anderson Church of God.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Sharon (Beard) Hoppes of Muncie, Daughter, Theresa Lynn Hoppes (Jim) Turner; 3 Step-children, Gary (Jessica) Parks, RaAnn (Sharek) Gadd, and Jeri (Josh) Rusk; Grandchildren, Amanda (Landon) Clouser, Justin (Trisha) Moore, Brittani Barker, Sara Hoppes, Alysha (Mike) Klees, Alyson (Chris) Blawat, Gary Parks Jr., Adam Parks, Eric Hersberger, Morgan Gadd, and Owen Rusk; great-grandchildren, Emma Clouser, Gracelyn Clouser, Noah Clouser, Chloe Moore, Isabelle Moore, Gabrielle Moore, Lillian Hersberger, Lexi Henry, Preston Hoppes, Dean Barker, and Jace Hoppes-Ridings; Brother, Larry Hoppes; Sister, Linda (Trevor) Shepherd; Faithful devoted friends, Wilfredo "Willie" Lopez and David Estep.
Preceded in death by his parents; Son, Jack Hoppes Jr.; Stepdaughter, Rhonda Hersberger; Step-granddaughter, Shannon Wagers.
Services will be on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with J.D. Traylor officiating. Cremation will take place.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 from 3:00-7:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
