FRAMINGHAM: Edward A. Black, 63, died peacefully in the care and comfort of his family at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 following a period of declining health.
He was born in Natick on February 27, 1949 the son of the late Albert and Dorothy (Wells) Black.
Edward was the beloved husband of Judith F. (Thompson) Black of Framingham. Step-father of Kimberly Ehret of Worcester; Robert Hassard of Shrewsbury and Kristene Isaac of Blackstone. He was the brother of Nancy Black of Lexington, KY; Rick Black and his wife Gail of Oxford; David Black and his wife Paula of Lexington, KY and William Black and his wife Joanne of Manchester, NH. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
A Memorial Service celebrating Edward’s life will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Natick Church of Christ, 322 Main St (Rte 27) Natick.
