Phyllis J. (Gowen) Crabill, age 83 of Anderson died at St. John's Hospital on June 29, 2011 following an extended illness.
She was born February 9, 1928 in Anderson to Pell and Eulah (Jones) Gowen. She attended East Lynn Christian Church.
She worked production at Delco Remy for 24 years before retiring in 1977.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert D. Crabill of Anderson; 3 children: Gene Edward Trueblood of Indianapolis, Carolyn Trueblood of Anderson and Kevin Robert (Pam) Crabill of Middletown, brother, Jack (Jerri) Gowen of Tyler, TX, 4 grandchildren: Aaron Trueblood, Jeremy (April) Havens, Ross Crabill and Emily Crabill; 2 nephews Todd Gowen and Terry Gowen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Jane Banks
Services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Ned Clark officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to East Lynn Christian Church.
