Bobby Gene Pruett

Bobby Gene Pruett, age 76 of Alexandria, IN died at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis following an extended illness.
He was born in Sikeston, Missouri August 19, 1934 to Dorsey P. and Lucille (Hastings) Pruett.
Bobby married his high school sweetheart.
He worked for 50 years for Container and Jefferson Smurffit before retiring in 2004.
He was the first customer of Frisch's Big Boy on Broadway and remained a loyal customer all his life.
He was a member of the Elks in Elwood and in Anderson.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty June (Moser) Pruett, his mother, Lucille (Hastings) Pruett, 4 children Janet (Morris) Savage, Steve (Jenny) Pruett, Mark (Yvonne Harper) Pruett and Marie (Jeffrey) Arnold, sister, June (Steve) Nilles, grandchildren: Eric Savage, Joshua Savage, Jaime Savage, Justin Arnold, Marcus Pruett, Micah Pruett, Marissa Pruett, Mary Ann Pruett and Dena Kay Pruett; step-sons Mike & Ben Murray; great grandchildren Rylan Savage, Zachary, Abbey & Jack Rooker and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dorsey Pruett and his sister Shirley Ann Morgan.
Services will be on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Ned Clark officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, August 19 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
