Lillian Elizabeth (Conover) Brown, 75, of Bedford, formerly of East Greenbush, NY, died May 25th, 2004 at the Elliot hospital after a short illness.
She was born in Albany, NY on July 17, 1928, the daughter of Stewart and Lillian (Emmett) Conover. Her step-mother Anne Conover raised her from an early age.
After raising her family, she had been employed doing clerical work helping her husband who managed a photographic studio in Albany, NY.
Earlier in her life, Mrs. Brown performed in The Albany Civic Theatre and also many roller skating shows. She loved spending time on the seacoast in Maine.
Members of her family include her husband of 42 years, Roger Brown of Bedford; One son, Greg Brown of Manchester; One daughter, Heather Varkarotas of Florida; 6 grandchildren; Two brothers, Stewart Conover of Otisfield, ME and James Conover of Franklin, WI; Several nephews and nieces.
The funeral service was held in Lambert Funeral Home and Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, on Thursday May 27, 2004. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
