Thelma E. "Beth" Dyer-Wood, age 89 died at her daughter and son-in-law's residence in Alexandria, Thursday, September 8, 2011 after a 4 month illness.
She was born in St. Joseph, MO April 4, 1922 to Clarence and Grace (Johns) Barnes.
She and her first husband, Kenneth C. Dyer were part owners of Ray Adams Toyota for 20 years in Raytown, MO.
She moved to Anderson in 2000 having lived most of her life in Kansas City, MO.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and the Keenagers at Grace Baptist.
Survivors include her 2nd husband, Martin Wood of Muncie, whom she married January of 2003; son Ken (Martha) Dyer of Gladstone, MO; daughter Diane (Donald) Hamm of Alexandria;
5 grandchildren Karrie (Jon) Pardieck of Muncie, Justin (Hoi) Kreter of Frankton; Kimberly Dyer of Kansas City, MO; Patrick Dyer and Laura Dyer both of Gladstone, MO; 3 great grandchildren Elizabeth Umberger, K.J. Kreter and Illiana Dyer Beale
She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband Kenneth C. Dyer and her brother Clarence Barnes.
Services will be on Saturday, September 10 at 11:30 A.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Josh Crocket officiating. Friends may call from 10:30 until the service.
Burial will be take place in Kansas City, MO
