Martha (Baker) Douglass

Martha (Baker) Douglass, 93, of Anderson died on October 24, 2011 at Bethany Pointe Nursing Home following an extended illness.
She was born on February 22, 1918 in Wolcott, IN.
She was a school teacher and counselor for many years and retired from Noblesville Community Schools.
She graduated from Purdue University. She was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority, Madison County Purdue Club, Anderson First United Methodist Church, PEO and numerous other organizations.
Survivors include her 2 sons, Robert B. (wife, Pansy L. ) Douglass and Stephen B. (wife, Kathy) Douglass all of Anderson; sister, Mary (husband, Robert) Bingston of Everett, Washington, 5 grandchildren, Julie R. Mohlnar, Jonathan L. Douglass, Stephanie Marie Douglass, Sarah E. Douglass, and Emily Norton-Henry; Several nieces and nephews including, Kay Peiguss.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Noel B. Douglass
The funeral service will be on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 12 noon at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. William Mathys officiating. The burial will take place at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 28, 2011 from 10:00am-12 Noon at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Second Harvest Food Bank, Madison County Humane Society, or Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
